It seems this “hotel pickup” bus actually means “we’ll send a girl to get you from the hotel, make you walk a few hundred yards then have you wait on a street corner since we’ll be late anyway”. Lord knows what bus is actually going to show up. I think I may have fallen fowl of a bad bus company here. They better give me good views of the Hy Van Pass!

Hué has been fun but where are all the backpackers going?? I went to the popular spots for them but only saw a few my age?!? Is there something that Tripadvisor, Wikitravel, Lonely Planet and I don’t know?

And further dammit! I paid an extra dollar for this trip! The hotel charged $3.50 and the travel agency only charge $2.50!
