My name is Henry Armitage and I’ve been living in Canada since 2009, working in Software Implementation.

OK that’s the tagline out of the way.

Long story short, I grew up in Yorkshire, United Kingdom, mostly between Guiseley and Harrogate. I got a degree in Computer Science from the University of East Anglia between 2002-2005, then decided to go travelling round the USA and to Whistler. Did both winter and summer up there! Was great! Learned to ski.

I moved back to London for 2 1/2 years, but decided ultimately that wasn’t for me. More travelling was in order, so a Round the World ticket was the way forward!

After that I moved to Vancouver and have gotten back into my skiing, hiking, diving, kickboxing and the occasional travel.
